We test against two players: a Hegel H95 and a Cambridge MXN10, with MinimServer behind them. That is three of the hundreds of combinations people actually run. If your gear is something we have never seen, your report is worth more than anything we could buy.

the deal

The first 50 reports from setups we have not tested get Sklad for good — no subscription, ever. Places go first to hardware nobody has tried yet; the tested list is on the Sklad page and we keep it honest as reports come in.

how it works

  1. 1Put your name down below — four short fields, no account, no app needed yet.
  2. 2We write back within a day or two with the TestFlight or Play link.
  3. 3Test for as long as you like, then send one report. It takes about twenty minutes; the app's Device report screen answers the technical half by itself.

what you need

Your own UPnP or DLNA media server and a UPnP/OpenHome player on the same network. Sklad controls them; it is not a player itself and has nothing to play without them.

Where the invitation goes. For Android, use the address your Play Store account is on.

Model and system version — e.g. iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 26, or Pixel 8, Android 16. Both, if you have both.

Brand and model. This is the field that decides the queue.

Software and what it runs on — e.g. Asset on a Synology, MinimServer on a NAS.

Unusual network, a second player, a huge library — anything that makes your setup different.

This form sends what you write to [email protected] and nowhere else. It is kept only as long as the beta needs it, is never shared, and sets no cookies. The app itself collects nothing at all.
